1. Who We Are

PropJournal ("we," "us," "our") is an AI-powered trading journal and compliance monitoring tool. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our web application.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name (if provided via Google OAuth), and authentication credentials.

Trading Data: When you import trades, we store trade records including symbols, timestamps, prices, volume, profit/loss, commissions, and swaps. This data is uploaded by you and is NOT collected automatically from your broker.

Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with the application, including pages visited, features used, and session duration.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the PropJournal service, including trade analysis, compliance monitoring, and AI coaching.

• Process your transactions and manage your subscription.

• Send compliance alerts via Telegram or email (only when you explicitly enable these features).

• Generate AI-powered trade analysis using your historical trade data.

• Improve the application and develop new features.

4. Data Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with the following protections:

• Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

• Row-Level Security (RLS): Database-level policies ensure that each user can only access their own data. No user can view, modify, or delete another user's data.

• Authentication: Managed by Supabase Auth with OAuth 2.0 and magic link support.

• No Broker Credentials: We NEVER ask for, store, or access your broker passwords, API keys, or login credentials. All trade data is imported via file upload only.

5. AI Data Processing

When you use the AI Coach feature, your trade data is sent to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) for analysis. This data is:

• Used only to generate your personalized trade analysis.

• Not used to train AI models (per Anthropic's API data policy).

• Not stored by the AI provider beyond the duration of the request.

• Transmitted over encrypted connections.

6. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information or trading data to third parties. We may share data only with:

• Service Providers: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI), Resend (email), Telegram Bot API (alerts) — each only receives the minimum data necessary to provide their service.

• Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or government request.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, all your trade data, settings, and AI insights are permanently removed from our database within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only for authentication session management. We do NOT use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
